Battery Saving / App Optimization Settings

Huawei

Disable the power saver on Huawei devices

• Open the phone’s settings
• Select “Battery”
• Disable “Power saving mode” and “Ultra power saving mode”

Disable app optimization on Huawei devices (for Android 6 or higher)

• Open your phone settings
• Select “Apps & Notifications”
• Tap “Apps”
• Select “Settings” at the bottom followed by “Special access”
• Select “Ignore optimizations”
• Press “Allowed” and select “All apps”
• Find Zeopoxa on the list and set to “Allow”

Add Zeopoxa apps to “Protected Apps”

• Open the phone’s settings
• Tap Advanced Settings
• Tap Battery Manager
• Now, click on the “Protected apps”
• Add Zeopoxa apps to “Protected Apps”

Samsung

Disable the power saver on Samsung devices

• Open the phone’s settings and select “Device Maintenance” (“Device Care”)
• Tap “Battery”
• Make sure that Power Saving Mode is “Off” (“High Performance”)

Disable app optimization on Samsung devices (for Android 6 or higher)

• Open the phone’s settings and select “Applications” (“Apps”)
• Tap the three dots in the top right corner
• Select “Special Access” then “Optimize Battery usage”
• Select All
• Find Zeopoxa on the list and make sure that it is not selected

One Plus

Disable the power saver on One Plus devices

• Open your phone’s settings
• Tap “Battery”
• Toggle the battery saver off

Disable app optimization on One Plus devices (for Android 6 or higher)

• Open your phone’s settings
• Tap Battery
• Select Battery optimization
• Find Zeopoxa in the list of apps and select it
• Select “Don’t optimize”

Xiaomi (MIUI)

Disable the power saver on Xiaomi (MIUI) devices

• Open your phone’s settings
• Tap Additional Settings (Battery & Peformance)
• Tap on Manage apps battery usage
• Choose apps
• Tap on Installed apps
• Tap on Zeopoxa app
• Tap No restrictions
• Open your phone’s settings
• Tap Apps
• Tap on Zeopoxa app
• Tap Battery saving
• Tap No restriction

Enable use of GPS in background

• Open your phone’s settings
• Tap Additional Settings
• Tap Privacy
• Tap Location
• Check that you are using High Accuracy for Location Mode and also allowing location access
• Configure app so it can use GPS in the background

LG

Disable the power saver on LG devices

• From the home screen, select Apps
• Select Settings from within the Apps tab
• Tap “General”
• Select “Battery & Power Saving”
• Toggle Battery Saver off

Disable app optimization on LG devices (for Android 6 or higher)

• Open your phone’s settings
• Tap Battery & power saving
• Tap Battery usage
• Tap Ignore optimizations

Sony

Disable the power saver on Sony devices

• Open your phone’s settings
• Select “Battery”
• Tap STAMINA mode
• Choose “Never” (turn off)

Disable app optimization on Sony devices (for Android 6 or higher)

• Open your phone’s settings
• Tap “Battery”
• Select the three dots in the top right corner
• Click “Battery optimization”
• Select “Apps” then “Zeopoxa app”
• Turn off battery optimization for Zeopoxa app

Motorola

Disable the power saver on Motorola devices

• Open your phone’s settings
• Tap Battery
• Tap Battery saver
• Turn off battery saver

Disable app optimization on Motorola devices (for Android 6 or higher)

• Open your phone’s settings
• Tap “Battery”
• Tap the menu in the top right corner
• Click “Battery optimization”
• Tap “Not optimized”
• Select “All Apps”
• Find Zeopoxa apps on this list and Select “Don’t Optimize”

HTC

Disable the power saver on HTC devices

• Open your phone’s settings
• Tap “Power”
• Tap “Off” to deactivate the power saving mode

Disable app optimization on HTC devices (for Android 6 or higher)

• Open your phone’s settings
• Tap Power
• Tap Battery optimization
• Tap Not optimized
• Tap All apps to see the complete list of apps
• Find Zeopoxa app in the list and tap Don't optimize
• Tap Done

Other Android devices

Most Android phones also use a power saver/optimization which can be found in the settings. Please make sure that the Zeopoxa apps are excluded from the energy saving mode and that optimization is disabled.
